Slab Leak Detection in Fairfield, Ohio

This call came from Tri-County plumbing to take care of one of their customers. I first checked at all the first floor fixtures to determine where the leak was. I was able to quickly determine that the under slab leak was on the line between the Mechanical Room and the kitchen sink. The line was making a large amount of noise at the Mechanical Room (roughly 90 – 100 decibels) and about 70 decibels at the kitchen sink, which told me the leak was closer to the Mechanical Room. After looking closely at the lines and where they penetrated the floor I called Dave at Tri-County to discuss rerouting the offending line as there was too much danger with trying to repair the line with the electrical main coming up through the floor right next to it.
