Leak location service in Monfort Heights, Ohio

Leak location service at a residence in Monfort Hts, Ohio involved a 1/2″ water line running to an outside hose bibb. The water line was run against a concrete wall, with insulation between it and the drywall wall. Anytime you’re considering running a water line in an exterior wall, make sure that first, it’s run at least a couple of inches off the exterior wall and second, that there is insulation between the pipe and the exterior wall, but no insulation between the pipe and the interior wall. I found the leaking water line within 5 minutes, and opened the wall for the plumber to access the work. As you can see from the photo, a small slit in the pipe was all that was needed for a considerable amount of water in the basement.
