Leak location service in Montgomery/Kenwood I was called to perform a leak location service in Montgomery/Kenwood, Ohio. The yard was dry as a bone with a considerable leak that you could easily hear both inside the house and at the water meter. The 3/4″ copper water main ran through the flat lawn in the front yard and the leak location was close to the middle. The peculiar thing was that the leak location wasn’t apparent, even with using the ground probe (no water on tip or end of ground probe) as there was a sanitary main that had been replaced right next to the water main and the water was dropping down into the openings left from the recently dug trench. After considerable searching, I was able to find the leak.
