Three leak detection services, each over 400 ft long in one day

The average length for leak detection services is 50 to 100 ft long. Occasionally I get repeat work, which is becoming more common the longer I’m in business. This past week I received a call from a past leak detection homeowner with a 400 ft. long water supply line. The line developed another water leak and I was asked to performed another leak detection service. A couple of days later I received another call from a different past customer, also with a 400 ft. long line. What an interesting coincidence!

The day that I scheduled those leak detection services,  while finishing up the first water leak detection, I received a call from a client that I had helped twice before with her 400 ft long line! She had another water leak and was wondering if I could find her leak ASAP. I was able to take care of her the same day that she called and by the end of the day I had 3 very strangely similar jobs for past clients of mine.

All three jobs were blue max piping, which is probably why they are all repeat customers. I advise most clients who have blue max piping with short lines to replace them. These three jobs would each cost well over $15,000 to replace, which is the reason they continue to repair the lines.

All three jobs had pressure regulating valves, which obviously indicates that they have higher pressure in the water service lines, which causes additional stress to the water service lines.

Long story short, I had three repeat customers all with 400 ft long lines in one day. All three jobs were found within budget and my clients were added to the Reliable Leak Detection happy customer list!

Never a dull moment in the leak detection business!
